What is a good manual transmission automobile?

I'm looking for a new car. I currently drive a 95 Nissan Pathfinder that has served me quite well. She's at 192,000 miles, and I need to get a new car before she says, "bye." I love stick shifts, and would like to stay with one. I'm a reporter, always on the go, and frequently take six- to eight-hour trips. I'd like an SUV, but wouldn't mind a sedan. Any recommendations on either one? I'd like to stay in the 2003 to 2007 range, and a sedan would have to be roomy enough to comfortably allow me to report on my laptop from the car.
