What requirements do you need to own a Business Jet?

The only requirement is lots of money! No piloting experience is necessary. Though some states may require it to be insured, there is no federal requirement for insurance - but then who would own a multi-million dollar vehicle and not have it insured? Then the plane must be registered - most states require airplanes to be registered as well as the FAA. That's pretty much about it!
