You should get the pins. The calendar is a common reward so its not as valuable. The Pins are a one time thing so even if you don't like the pins, you could sell it for a good price. Since these pins can't be bought in stores or any place like that, they become more of a collectors item and maybe some big mario fan that wants the pins will buy the pins at a decent price.
