Opinions on Black ops?

Black ops is the best game of the year, how so? When in multiplayer it takes a ridiculous amount of shots, and nothing really get's destroy with explosions except barrels. Other games like medal of honor and MAG aswell as others, when things get blown up, they get blown up and look blown up. Is it because of the campaign? MW2 had a hell of a more epic campaign. Just need thoughts on why it's so over rated, PS i am complain because i suck i do sometimes find black ops fun when i get sick of other games. I just think it's over rated in all the sense.
