Whatever happen to Bill Clintons' dog Buddy?

We know that ole' Billy boy was a roomy with Buddy, but what has happened to the dog? Did he die of old age yet? Is is still Bill's best friend? Anybody know? For those that don't remember, Buddy was a Black Labrador Retriever.
