Will these dishes work together?

I want to make dinner tomorrow night, and I was planning on serving cold tortellini pasta salad (tortellini, mozzarella, basil, sun dried tomatoes, vinaigrette dressing, pepper) with simple lemon basil seared scallops as an entree. Do they go together at all? I'm very much a cooking novice. :P
