What type of fridge is best?

I am going to be purchasing a new refrigerator soon, and am torn between a side-by-side and one that has the freezer on the bottom. I have never had either, so am unsure about which is roomier. Right now I have a regular fridge with the freezer on top, but I find my freezer is constantly overflowing. Which do you prefer? Which holds the most food in general...not just frozen?
